Phil
Description
Meet Phil, the wisecracking orange tabby with more attitude than sense. As a proud member of The Strays, a ragtag trio of alley cats prowling the dim backstreets of Merbark Bay, Phil’s loyalty begins and ends with one thing — food. Fish scraps, leftover pizza, half-eaten hotdogs — if it’s edible (or even close), Phil’s already on the hunt for it.
Phil’s most notorious quirk is his addiction to bubblegum — he chews it obsessively, often ending up with bright pink wads tangled in his fur. Despite this sticky habit, he insists it makes him “look cool.”
With his quick wit, fast-talking schemes, and a knack for getting into (and barely out of) trouble, Phil is the self-proclaimed joker of The Strays. He’s always got a plan — usually half-baked, often disastrous — but his enthusiasm never wavers.
Though he’d never admit it out loud, Phil looks up to Binnie, the street-smart leader of The Strays, seeing her as the big sister he never had (and probably doesn’t deserve). Together with the rest of the gang, Phil navigates the scrappy, food-filled world of Merbark Bay — one bad idea at a time.
