An exuberant, excitable, jumping-up-in-everyone’s-face puppy who’s absolutely fascinated by Molly and secretly wants to be just like him when he grows up. Charlie is Ruby’s age and belongs to the other next door neighbours, a well-to-do family who adore him but spoil him rotten! Charlie is a highly-evolved pup and speaks in precise, privileged tones – often letting slip details of his affluent background. He enjoys digging, barking and fine Beluga caviar. Yummy!

Charlie and Ruby became fast friends the very first time they saw each other through a hole in the fence and have been besties ever since. Charlie is every bit as energetic and adventurous as Ruby, but just a hair less gung-ho… sometimes. When Ruby and Molly rev themselves up and are about to go off on some ludicrously risky (but undeniably fun) adventure, Charlie is just a teensy bit prone to hesitation and doubt…

At least until Ruby accuses him of being a chicken, that is. Then he’s off and running alongside them, trying to outdo them both! “Tally-HO!!”
