Lawrence Mooney is an acclaimed stand-up comedian who across a thirty year career has been regarded by critics and fans as properly hilarious whether appearing as himself, one of his many characters, live or on the tele.

Lawrence loves performing live and he regularly tours the country to packed houses, over the journey he’s collected a few nods and gongs. He has been nominated for The Barry Award three times (Best Show at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival), he has also won Best Show at The Sydney Comedy Festival, Best National Act at the Perth Comedy Festival and Best Comedy Act at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Lawrence’s television credits include the host of Dirty Laundry Live a show that ran for three seasons on the ABC. He is a regular on The Front Bar on Seven and The Back Page on Fox Sports.

Meet Sarg – Commander-in-Chief of the Merbark Bay Sheriff’s Department (MBSD)!

A legend in his own lunch bowl, Sarg is absolutely certain he’s top dog — and honestly, he is as there are only two in the organisation. LOL

As the self-appointed leader of the MBSD (a top-secret organisation that may or may not actually exist), Sarg takes his job very seriously.

His mission?

Foil Peggy and Molly's fun.

Enforce the rules. Hmmmm what rules?

Make sure birds act like birds and NOT like dogs .

No cat stuff, unless he can bribe those alley cats to provide valuable information about the plans of the gang.

No fishy business, again unless it suits him.

And definitely no bird behaviour!

With his trusty sidekick Wolfe by his side, Sarg’s the fun police - he is hell bent on ensuring Peggy, Molly and gang stick to his rules.
